Melanie Schoendorfer is half of the duo behind Babe’s Meat & Counter, a Miami butcher and sandwich shop that, among many other things, produces its own sausages in house. Melanie’s made her share of hot dogs (a sausage she says is more complicated to make than most people realize), so we invited her to the tasting table to blind taste and rank six popular brands of all-beef hot dog: Nathan's, Ball Park, Sahlen’s, Sabrett, Oscar Mayer and Hebrew National.
