How Miami's J. Wakefield Brewing is supporting a protest movement in Cuba

J. Wakefield Brewing's header brewer María Isabel Cabré talks about El Mayor Deseo, the Cuba Libre-inspired sour beer she and the J. Wakefield team created to support the ongoing protest movement in Cuba. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of El Mayor Deseo will go to Cuba Decide's efforts to keep Cubans' phones connected to the Internet, which has been vital for their coordinating amongst each other and getting their stories and reports of human rights abuses off the island.

Disclosure: Nicolás Antonio Jiménez — who shot and edited this video — was asked for feedback on this beer project while it was in development.
