Pan Con Podcast special episode: The Proud Boys, Will Crandall, and the importance of a hard conversation

In a special "inbetweenisode" of Pan Con Podcast, Mike Beltran gets into the controversy that was sparked when photos surfaced of chef Will Crandall wore Proud Boys gear to a couple of South Florida food events. The Proud Boys are a controversial, loosely organized group that some see as a white supremacist, neo-fascist organization. The fallout played out publicly and eventually drove his resignation from his position as chef de cuisine at Michael Mina's Stripsteak in Miami Beach.

Who are the Proud Boys? What was going through Will's head? When do disagreements go too far to tolerate? Has Will been treated fairly? What could he have done differently? And, most importantly, where do we go from here?

Mike and Nick (but mostly Mike) tackle all these questions in an effort to turn down the noise and find a way forward.
