Military veterans find purpose with The Mission Continues.

Military veterans find purpose with The Mission Continues.

In the more than 16 years since the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, millions have gone through the U.S. military’s ranks in some way or another. Since 2007, a St. Louis-born organization called The Mission Continues has been helping those (and other) veterans find fulfillment in giving to their communities and scratching the mission-oriented itch they might not be able to reach otherwise.

In this episode, you’ll hear my interview with Mat Tanner and Derek Auguste, who are involved with The Mission Continues’ work in Miami. We met at Pla Cigars & Wine Bar in South Miami, where we talked about The Mission Continues and life after deployment while smoking cigars and drinking rum.
